The Pexco Athol plant sits almost 2 hours west of Boston. Originally Duall Plastics, the site became part of the Pexco family in 1989. The facility specializes in both medical tubing and Pexco’s East Coast Fence operation for chain-link enhancement products. Athol also extrudes industrial profiles and tubing such as waste water filtration and food and beverage industry products. It processes a range of resin materials, from PVC (both flexible and rigid) to HDPE to select engineering resins, primarily for medical tubing, such as polycarbonate, nylon, Pebax®, and polypropylene. Pexco Athol is adept at processing, combining, and extruding co-extrusions or even tri-extruded tubing products.
